What Options Do I Have?
You can continue your water heater rental and enjoy uninterrupted benefits of worry free service. By choosing to continue service with GHL, you will enjoy 100% parts and labor coverage with your GHL rentals for as long as you remain on the program. To enroll with GHL and to set up your billing and payment preferences visit - www.ghlsolutions.com/PSE or call GHL at 1-833-358-0273.
If you prefer not to continue your rental service, you may take ownership of your water heater equipment and end your lease with PSE by completing the process here. You may have a payoff balance due depending on the age of your equipment.
You may also have your equipment removed by calling PSE Lease Services at 800-421-7368. You may have a payoff balance if the age of your equipment is under one year.
What are the differences in leasing programs between PSE & GHL?
Many things remain the same as the PSE program, but there are some differences. GHL will provide the same service level as PSE, and has partnered with PSE’s current service provider, Fast Water Heater for repair and replacement services. Your rental rate1 will remain the same for your existing equipment for two years with GHL. GHL offers a wider selection of energy efficient replacement equipment including tankless options, and will include any code upgrade charges in your rental rate during a replacement. This means no out of pocket expense for costly code upgrades when a replacement is required. You will need to sign a new GHL rental agreement with new terms and monthly rate for a replacement. Please view the comparison chart between GHL and PSE rental terms of service for your existing equipment.
When do I have to make a decision?
GHL will take over service from PSE on December 23, 2020. If you want to continue service, we encourage you to enroll with GHL at www.ghlsolutions.com/PSE to set up your preferred billing and payment options and avoid any interruption of service. If you prefer to end your rental service, you must end your service and take ownership, or remove your equipment prior to December 23, 2020. If you do not end your service, GHL will take over servicing your equipment and continue the monthly billing.
How much will this cost me?
If you decide to enroll with GHL and continue your rental service, your monthly rate1 will remain the same for a minimum of two years with a guarantee cap on any price increase in your third year. You will continue to enjoy 100% parts and labor coverage with your GHL rentals for as long as you remain on the program.
If you choose to take ownership and end your lease with PSE, you may have a payoff balance due and will be responsible for any parts, labor, and replacements required once you own the equipment.
1 PSE Rate as of April 30, 2020
How do I know if I have a payoff balance?
We sent you information on the transition options and included your payoff balance if any. Some customers may not have a payoff balance depending on the age of their equipment. If you would like to inquire about your payoff balance today, please send an email to LeaseServices@pse.com with your name, service address, leased equipment number (if possible), with acknowledgement that you are the owner, or call Lease Services at 800-421-7368 during normal business hours. We will send you a letter with the remaining payoff balance of the equipment and next steps if you choose to terminate your service.
What are the terms of GHL’s Lease Agreement?
When will GHL begin to bill me?
GHL will take over service on the transition date of December 23, 2020. Your first payment with GHL will be due on January 15th, 2021, and will cover your GHL rental service from December 23, 2020 – January 23, 2021. You will receive an invoice by email or mail prior to that date. The last month of your PSE monthly rental charge will be pro-rated by PSE on your PSE billing statement.
